Jena Tumlin

Jena Tumlin:  Jena was in her first play at the tender age of 8. With a strong background in drama, Jena started exploring her comedic talent six years ago.  Jena has one of the most extensive ranges of characters in the performance industry.  Her voices and impersonations have been keeping people laughing for years.  From principle characters to supporting roles, Jena is no stranger to the stage.  With numerous roles at Permian Playhouse, Midland Community Theatre, The Globe of the Great Southwest, and Summer Mummers, Jena is sure to be found where she belongs...in the limelight.
 

 

Phil Tytanic

Phil TytanicPhil has been making people laugh all of his life, including ten years on the stage.  He started his performance career in the "Olio” in Midland, TexasSummer Mummers.  He soon began acting in the Summer Mummers melodrama in a traditional comedic relief role known as the “hero’s sidekick.”  For the past five years, Phil has enjoyed being the director of the Olio with his wife having served as choreographer for the past nine years.  Phil Tytanic has also shared his comedy with the patrons of Midland Community Theatre including productions of “The Mystery of Irma Vep” and “Crazy for You.”  With over six years of performing with “Improv at the Yucca,” Phil says his greatest love of performing lies in improv.

 

 

Cody Tumlin

Cody TumlinCody Tumlin is an actor's actor.  His ability to stand out and keep you laughing makes him one of the most sought-after actors in the Permian Basin.  With impeccable comedic timing and disciplined preparation, Cody is sure to be the star of every show in which he appears.  More recently, Cody has broadned his theatrical efforts, trying his hand at directing and obtaining multiple accolades for his work.  With his love to make people laugh, Cody is constantly searching for projects that will challenge his ability to add his own magic to each and every role. 

 

 

Justin Tate

Justin Tate:  Justin is on the fast track to becoming one of the better-known names in comedy in West Texas.  With his mastery of physical comedy, Justin has been compared to Steve Martin and Jim Carrey.  With performances in New York, Ireland, England and New Zealand, Justin has obtained the experience needed to ensure a quality performance everytime he steps on stage.  While Justin's fifteen years of performing have exposed him to all aspects of dramatic and musical theatre, anyone who has seen him perform knows his true talent lies in making the audience laugh.  In addition to THE VENUE, Justin appears every afternoon as the afternoon drive DJ on Lite Rock 98 KODM (KODM-FM).

 

 

Hilary Evitt

Hilary Evitt:  A longtime dancer, singer and actress, Hilary has a rich background in musical theatre.  She has played principal roles in such productions as "Singin' in the Rain," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," "Annie," "Peter Pan," and "Damn Yankees."  Hilary also has years of comedy experience, well known as the perennial damsel in distress in Summer Mummers.  Hilary is enjoying strectching her comedic wings in THE VENUE and her performances with Improv at the Yucca.  A former TV news anchor, she is now heard every afternoon, spinning the latest country music hits on Lonestar 92 (KNFM-FM).
